ORIGINS: The Dawn of Dinosaurs Over 200 million years ago, the earth was dominated by creatures faster and deadlier than humans could possibly imagine. Within a period of 25 million years, dinosaurs spread around the world—a dominating presence that would last for the next 135 million years. The history of their dramatic rise is written in the rocky cliffs of the Valley of the Moon (Valle de la Luna), in the scenic Andes foothills of Argentina. ORIGINS provides a glimpse into early Triassic life when the two earliest and most famous dinosaurs, Eoraptor and Herrerasaurus, thrived. Explore the ancient environment and clues to the Triassic climate that lead to the rise of dinosaurs.
