Dave and Allison's "Taco Salad"

10 c. rice

22 c. water

3 tbsp water
(water for rehydrating beef and soup
mix)
- 1 can dehydrated beef (about 1lb)
- 1 lb cheesy vegetable soup mix
- 1 c. chili powder
- 1 c. taco seasoning
- 1 c. powdered cheddar cheese
- 2 onions, diced
- Corn chips (optional)

Cook rice in 22 c. water. Rehydrate
beef in the can.

In a large soup pot, sautee
onions in 3 tbsp oil.
- Stir in the cheesy vegetable soup
mix and wisk in water (about 10 cups)
until soup consistency. Let boil.
- Stir in the beef, chili, taco seasonings
and cheddar cheese.
- Turn off the pot when it boils and
stir in the cooked rice. Serve hot
with corn chips.
